Martha Dear is looking to add a line cook to our team. We are a neighborhood restaurant that specializes in naturally leavened pizza. We are open five days a week, Wednesday to Sunday, and closed Monday and Tuesday. Our menu centers around our Greek roots, sourdough offerings, and love of vegetables. We use lots of Greek olive oil and work with local farms. We are into natural wines mostly from Greece. Demetri, our chef co-owner, is Greek. His wife, Tara, runs the front of house. Our small team values compassion and accountability. You will work side by side with the chef-owner. Line Cook Position
A line cook position isapproximately 40 hours a week, Wednesday – Sunday. Pizza experience is preferred but not required. An interest in sourdough and local flour is also a plus.
Responsibilities
Prep food for service
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
Prepare menu items in high quality and timely fashion
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Stock + record inventory appropriately
Breakdown and clean station post service
Closing side work
Required Skills
Minimum of 1 year in a professional kitchen
